【摘要】:Usingdiptubesofthecorrectlengthishelpfulbyenablingtheusertodischargeessentiallyalltheproductfromthedispenser,preventingthetubefrombecomingjammedintoanincorrectpositionasaresultofgassing,preventingthe(non-dimpled)valvecupfromexcessivelyprotrudingfromthecanplugandperhapscausingproductionproblemsatthecrimperorgasser/crimper,andpreventingthetubefrombottomingontheflatbaseofsomealuminumcansinsuchawaythatasealismadethatwillacttolimitorstoptheentryofproductintothetubewhenthevalveisactuated.Diptubesthatextendfullytothebottomofthedispenser,withoutexcessivedistortion,canalsoaidinretainingtheirconnectiontothevalvebodytailpiece,whichmaybeimportantiftheaerosolcontentexertsaverysignificantswellingactionuponthediptubeplastic.ThechoiceofA-Ddimensionisinfluencedbyanumberoffactors.Thesefactorsinclude:Tubecurvature,whichmayvaryconsiderablybetweentubes.Variationofvalvecupandvalvecupgasketthickness.Elevationorsuppressionofthevalvepedestal(thustopendofthediptube)uponcrimping.Elevationofvalvepedestalduringhot-tanking,onlypartlydiminisheduponsubsequentcooling.Swelling(orshrinking)actionoftheproductonthediptube.1.1ThispracticecoverstherapiddeterminationoftheA-Ddimensiondefinedasthecenterlinedimensionfromthetopplaneofthevalvemountingcupcurltothefarendofthediptube.SeeFig.1.1.2Thispracticeislimitedtovalveswith1-in.(25.4-mm)mountingcups.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.
