【摘要】:Theprocedurespresentedinthistestmethodareavailable,inpart,inTestMethodD3685/D3685M,aswellastheASMEMethodsgivenin2.3andFootnote8,5theCFRgivenin2.4,andthepublicationgiveninFootnote9.61.1Thistestmethoddescribesmeasurementoftheaveragevelocityofagasstreamforthepurposeofdetermininggasflowinastack,duct,orflue.Althoughtechnicallycomplex,itisgenerallyconsideredthemostaccurateandoftentheonlypracticaltestmethodfortakingvelocitymeasurements.1.2Thistestmethodissuitableformeasuringgasvelocitiesabove3m/s(10ft/s).1.3Thistestmethodprovidesproceduresfordeterminingstackgascompositionandmoisturecontent.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thistestmethodisapplicabletoconditionswheresteady-stateflowoccurs,andforconstantfluidconditions.Iftheseconditionsarenotmeant,othermethodsmustbeused.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
