【摘要】:Researchersinthefieldofwaterrepellentcoatingshaverecognizedtheneedforastandardizedtestfordeterminingtheperformanceofwaterrepellentsappliedtostructuresinthefield.Manycoatingmanufacturerrsquo;supplywarrantiesfortheirproductsbasedonmaintainingaspecificwaterrepellencyonconcrete.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminetheeffectivewaterrepellencyofthecoatingbycomparingitsperformancetoacontroluncoatedspecimen.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedureforthedeterminationofthewaterabsorptionbyacoreofconcretetakenfromasurfacetreatedwithawaterrepellent.1.2Theintendeduseofthewaterrepellentcoatingistoreducetheamountofwaterthatabsorbsintothesubstrate.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThispartofISO10333specifiesrequirements,testmethods,instructionsforuseandmaintenance,marking,labellingandpackaging,asappropriate,forlanyardsandenergyabsorbers.Lanyardsandenergyabsorbersareusedtogetherasaconnectingsubsysteminpersonalfall-arrestsystems(PFAS)whichwillbespecifiedinafutureInternationalStandard(seeISO10333-6intheBibliography).TwoclassesofenergyabsorbersarespecifiedforthepurposesofthispartofISO10333:a)Type1:usedinPFASwhere,duetoinstallation,thepotentialfree-falldistancecanbelimitedtoamaximumof1,8mand,ifafalltakesplace,thearrestingforceislimitedtoamaximumof4,0kN;b)Type2:usedinPFASwhere,duetoinstallation,thepotentialfree-falldistancecanbelimitedtoamaximumof4,0mand,ifafalltakesplace,thearrestingforceislimitedtoamaximumof6,0kN.ThispartofISO10333isapplicableonlytolanyardsandenergyabsorberslimitedtosingle-personuseofatotalmassnotexceeding100kg.NOTEUsersoffall-protectionequipmentwhosetotalmass(includingtoolsandequipment)exceeds100kgareadvisedtoseekadvicefromtheequipmentmanufacturerregardingthesuitabilityofthisequipment,whichmayneedadditionaltesting.ForthepurposesofthispartofISO10333,energyabsorbersmaybesuppliedintegraltoalanyard,integraltoafullbodyharness(FBH),ormaybesuppliedseparately.ThescopeofthispartofISO10333doesnotextendto:a)PFASthatincorporatelanyardswithoutenergyabsorbersorwithoutameansofenergydissipation;b)speciallanyardsandenergyabsorberswhichareintegral(i.e.canonlybeseparatedbymutilationorbyspecialtool)tothePFAScomponentsasspecifiedinISO10333-4.ThispartofISO10333doesnotspecifythoseadditionalrequirementsthatwouldapplywhenlanyardsandenergyabsorbersaresubjectedtospecialconditionsofuse(where,forexample,thereexistunusuallimitationsconcerningaccesstotheplaceofworkand/orparticularenvironmentalfactors).Thustreatmentstoensurethedurabilityofthematerialsofconstruction(suchasheattreatment,anti-corrosiontreatment,protectionagainstphysicalandchemicalhazards)arenotspecifiedinthispartofISO10333,butshouldcomplywithappropriateInternationalStandardsor,failingthat,withnationalstandardsandotherspecificationsdealingwithrelevantphysicalcharacteristicsand/orthesafetyofusers.Inparticular,whenitisconsiderednecessarytotestthecorrosionresistanceofmetallicpartsoftheequipment,referenceshouldbemadetoISO9227.
