【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwomethodsfordeterminingthedecreaseincounterforceexertedbyatestpieceofvulcanizedorthermoplasticrubberwhichhasbeencompressedtoaconstantdeformationandmaintainedthusatapredeterminedtesttemperature.Twoformsoftestpiecearepermitted:cylindricaltestpiecesandrings.Differentshapesandsizesoftestpiecegivedifferentresults,andcomparisonofresultsshouldbelimitedtotestpiecesofsimilarsizeandshape.Theuseofringtestpiecesisparticularlysuitableforthedeterminationofstressrelaxationinliquidenvironments.Testingattemperaturesbelowstandardlaboratorytemperatureisnotspecified.ThemethodshavebeenusedforIow-temperaturetesting,buttheirreliabilityundertheseconditionsisnotproven.
