【摘要】:1.1ProductdefinitionThisEuropeanStandardcontainstheinitial,startoflifedimensional,optical,mechanicalandenvironmentalperformancerequirementswhichaconnectorterminatedwithcylindricalzirconia8°angledPCferruleandassembledsinglemoderesilientalignmentsleeveSC-APCsimplexconnectorset(plug/adaptor/plug),adaptorandpatchcordmustmeetinorderforittobecategorisedasanENstandardproduct.Sincedifferentvariantsandgradesofperformancearepermitted,productmarkingdetailsaregivenin3.6.1.2IntermateabilityAlthoughallproductsconformingtotherequirementsofthisstandardwillintermate,theresultinglevelofrandomattenuationperformancewillonlybeensuredinaccordancewithTable1.Theintentionisthatthiswillbetrueirrespectiveofthemanufacturingsource(s)oftheproduct.Whenintermatingplugvariantshavingdifferentattenuationgrades,theresultinglevelofattenuationcannotbeassuredtobeanybetterthantheworstattenuationgrade.TheintermatingofagradeCplugwithagradeBplugwillresultinanuncertainlevelofrandomattenuationperformance.1.3OperatingenvironmentThetestsselectedcombinedwiththeseveritiesanddurationsarerepresentativeofacategoryUenvironmentdescribedinEN61753-1.1.4ReliabilityWhilsttheanticipatedservicelifeexpectancyoftheproductinthisenvironmentis20years,compliancewiththisstandarddoesnotguaranteethereliabilityoftheproduct.Thisshouldbepredictedusingarecognisedreliabilityassessmentprogramme.1.5QualityassuranceCompliancewiththisstandarddoesnotguaranteethemanufacturingconsistencyoftheproduct.Thisshouldbemaintainedusingarecognisedqualityassuranceprogramme.
