【摘要】:TheN-methylcarbamate(NMC)pesticides:aldicarb,carbaryl,carbofuran,formetanatehydrochloride,methiocarb,methomyl,oxamyl,pirimicarb,propoxur,andthiodicarbhavebeenidentifiedbyEPAasworkingthroughacommonmechanism.Theyaffectthenervoussystembyreducingtheabilityoftheenzymecholinesterase.CholinesteraseinhibitionwastheprimarytoxicologicaleffectofregulatoryconcerntoEPAinassessingtheNMCx2019;sfood,drinkingwaterandresidentialrisks.Inmostofthecountry,NMCresiduesindrinkingwatersourcesareatlevelsthatarenotlikelytocontributesubstantiallytothemulti-pathwaycumulativeexposure.Shallowprivatewellsextendingthroughhighlypermeablesoilsintoshallow,acidicgroundwaterrepresentwhattheEPAbelievestobethemostvulnerabledrinkingwater.Thismethodhasbeeninvestigatedforusewithreagentandsurfacewaterfortheselectedcarbamates:aldicarb,carbofuran,oxamylandmethomyl.1.1Thisprocedurecoversthedeterminationofaldicarb,carbofuran,oxamylandmethomyl(referredtocollectivelyascarbamatesinthistestmethod)insurfacewaterbydirectinjectionusingliquidchromatography(LC)anddetectedwithtandemmassspectrometry(MS/MS).Theseanalytesarequalitativelyandquantitativelydeterminedbythismethod.Thismethodadherestomultiplereactionmonitoring(MRM)massspectrometry.1.2ThistestmethodhasbeendevelopedinsupportoftheNationalHomelandSecurityResearchCenter,USEPAbyRegion5ChicagoRegionalLaboratory.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4TheDetectionVerificationLevel(DVL)andReportingRangeforthecarbamatesarelistedinTable1.1.4.1TheDVLisrequiredtobeataconcentrationatleast3timesbelowtheReportingLimit(RL)andhaveasignal/noiseratiogreaterthan3:1.Fig.1displaysthesignal/noiseratiosoftheprimarysinglereactionmonitoring(SRM)transitionsandFig.2displaystheconfirmatorySRMtransitionsattheDVLsforthecarbamates.1.4.2ThereportinglimitistheconcentrationoftheLevel1calibrationstandardasshowninTable2forthecarbamates.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
