【摘要】:ThispartofISO22090specifiestheconstruction,performanceandtestingofdevicesemployingonlymagneticmeansastransmittingheadingdevicesrequiredbychapterV,SOLAS1974(asamended).ATransmittingHeadingDevice(THD)isanelectronicdevicethatprovidesinformationabouttheship’strueheading.InadditiontothegeneralrequirementscontainedinIMOResolutionA.694(17)towhichIEC60945isassociatedandtherelevantstandardforthesensingpartused,theTHDequipmentshallcomplywiththefollowingminimumrequirements.WheretheIMOperformancestandardswhichapplytothesensingpartdonotspecifyageographicaloperatingareatheTHDshalloperatea)ataminimumrateofturn20°/s,andb)from70°latitudesouthto70°latitudenorthasaminimum.TheTHDscomplyingwiththerequirementscontainedinthispartofISO22090canbeusedforheadinginformationascontainedinChapterVoftheSOLASConvention.InadditionsuchTHDsshouldmeetthedynamicrequirementscontainedintheHSCCode,chapter13forthecarriageofasuitabledeviceprovidingheadinginformation.NOTE1Severaltechnologiescanbeusedtodetectandtransmitheadinginformation.Itisillogicaltostandardizethedetectionoftheheadingseparatelyfromthetransmissionoftheheading.Therefore,separatepartsofthispartofISO22090refertodifferenttechnologies.TherequirementsofthispartofISO22090onlyapplytotheprincipleoftheGeomagneticone.OthertechnologiesarecoveredinotherpartsofISO22090.NOTE2AllrequirementsthatareextractedfromtherecommendationofIMOResolutionMSC.116(73)onperformancestandardsfortransmittingheadingdevicesareprintedinitalics.Astandardmagneticcompasswithapickupsensorcouldbeappliedasasensingpartofthisstandardofgeomagneticprinciple.HowevertheIMOperformanceresolutionMSC.116(73)requiresthattheTHDshouldbemetforthedynamicrequirementsoftheHSCcode.Nevertheless,whentheTHDwouldbeonlyusedotherthantheHSC,thelimitofrateofturnmaybe6°/sinsteadof20°/s.
