【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedtoevaluatetheheatand/oroxidationstability(aging)ofrawrubberundercontrolledconditions.Highoriginalandagedplasticityvaluesusuallycorrespondtogoodagingproperties.Theratiooftheagedtooriginalplasticityvaluesexpressedasapercentage,thePRI,isusedasanindicationofaging.1.1Thistestmethodgivesanindicationoftheoxidationresistanceofrawnaturalrubberataspecifiedtemperature.ThisresistanceisindicatedbythePlasticityRetentionIndex(PRI),aratioexpressedasapercentageoftheagedplasticitytotheoriginalplasticitydeterminedbymeansofaparallelplateplastometer.AlowPRIvalueindicatesapoorresistancetooxidation.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
