【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementsformaterialsusedinvulcanized-rubbersealsforhotpotableandnon-potablewatersupply(upto110℃).Thedifferentsealdesignationsspecifiedaredefinedaccordingtosealtype,sealapplicationandtherequirementsforaparticularseal(seeTable3).Generalrequirementsforfinishedjointsealsarealsogiven.Anyadditionalrequirementscalledforbytheparticularapplicationarespecifiedintherelevantproductstandards,takingintoaccountthattheperformanceofpipejointsisafunctionofthesealmaterialproperties,sealgeometryandpipejointdesign.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtobeusedwhereappropriatewithproductstandardswhichspecifyperformancerequirementsforjoints.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletojointsealsforusewithallpipelinematerials,includingiron,steel,clay,fibrecement,concrete,reinforcedconcrete,plasticsandglass-reinforcedplastics.Itisapplicabletoelastomericcomponentsofcompositeandnon-compositeseals.Inthecaseofcompositesealsmadefrommaterialswithhardnessesrangingfrom76IRHDto95IRHD,therequirementsforelongationatbreak,compressionsetandstressrelaxationapplyonlywhenthematerialparticipatesinthesealingfunctionorcontributestothelong-termstabilityoftheseal.JointringsmadefromcellularrubbermaterialsorwithenclosedvoidsaspartoftheirdesignarenotcoveredbythisInternationalStandard.
