【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC10967definesthepropertiesofnumericalapproximationsformanyoftherealelementarynumericalfunctionsavailableinstandardlibrariesforavarietyofprogramminglanguagesincommonuseformathematicalandnumericalapplications.Animplementormaychooseanycombinationofhardwareandsoftwaresupporttomeetthespecificationsofthispart.Itisthecomputingenvironment,asseenbytheprogrammer/user,thatdoesordoesnotconformtothespecifications.Thetermimplementation(ofthispart)denotesthetotalcomputingenvironmentpertinenttothispart,includinghardware,languageprocessors,subroutinelibraries,exceptionhandlingfacilities,othersoftware,anddocumentation.1InclusionsThespecificationsofpart1areincludedbyreferenceinthispart.Thispartprovidesspecificationsfornumericalfunctionsforwhichalloperandvaluesareofintegerorfloatingpointdatatypessatisfyingtherequirementsofpart1.Boundariesfortheoc-currenceofexceptionsandthemaximumerrorallowedareprescribedforeachspecifiedoperation.Alsotheresultproducedbygivingaspecialvalueoperand,suchasaninfinity,oraNaN,isprescribedforeachspecifiedfloatingpointoperation.ThispartcoversmostnumericalfunctionsrequiredbytheISO/IECstandardsforAda[11],Basic[16],C[17],C++[18],Fortran[22],ISLisp[24],Pascal[27],andPL/I[29].Inparticular,specificationsareprovidedfor:a)Someadditionalintegeroperations.b)Someadditionalnon-transcendentalfloatingpointoperations,includingmaximumandmin-imumoperations.c)Exponentiations,logarithms,andhyperbolics.d)Trigonometries,bothinradiansandforargument-givenangularunitwithdegreesasaspecialcase.Thispartalsoprovidesspecificationsfor:e)Conversionsbetweenintegerandfloatingpointdatatypes(possiblywithdifferentradices)conformingtotherequirementsofpart1,andtheconversionoperationsused,forexample,intextinputandoutputofintegerandfloatingpointnumbers.f)TheresultsproducedbyanincludedfloatingpointoperationwhenoneormoreargumentvaluesareIEC60559specialvalues.g)Program-visibleparametersthatcharacterisecertainaspectsoftheoperations.2ExclusionsThispartprovidesnospecificationsfora)Numericalfunctionswhoseoperandsareofmorethanonedatatype(withoneexception).Thispartneitherrequiresnorexcludesthepresenceofsuch"mixedoperand"operations.b)Anintervaldatatype,ortheoperationsonsuchdata.Thispartneitherrequiresnorexcludessuchdataoroperations.c)Afixedpointdatatype,ortheoperationsonsuchdata.Thispartneitherrequiresnorexcludessuchdataoroperations.d)Arationaldatatype,ortheoperationsonsuchdata.Thispartneitherrequiresnorexcludessuchdataoroperations.e)Complex,matrix,statistical,orsymbolicoperations.Thispartneitherrequiresnorexcludessuchdataoroperations.f)Thepropertiesofarithmeticdatatypesthatarenotrelatedtothenumericalprocess,suchastherepresentationofvaluesonphysicalmedia.g)Thepropertiesofintegerandfloatingpointdatatypesthatproperlybelonginprogramminglanguagestandardsorotherspecifications.Examplesinclude1)thesyntaxofnumeralsandexpressionsintheprogramminglanguage,2)thesyntaxusedforparsed(input)orgenerated(output)characterstringformsfornumeralsbyanyspecificprogramminglanguageorlibrary,3)theprecedenceofoperatorsintheprogramminglanguage,4)thepresenceorabsenceofautomaticdatatypecoercions,5)therulesforassignment,parameterpassing,andreturningvalue,6)theconsequencesofapplyinganoperationtovaluesofimproperdatatype,ortounini-tialiseddata.Furthermore,thispartdoesnotprovidespecificationsforhowtheoperationsshouldbeimple-mentedorwhichalgorithmsaretobeusedforthevariousoperations.
