【摘要】:ThispartofthisEuropeanStandardspecifiesbasicrequirementsfortheinstallation,function,performance,documentation,testingandcommissioningofanaestheticgasscavenging(AGS)disposalsystemstoensurepatientandoperatorsafetybythesaferemovalofexcessanaestheticgasesandvapoursfromtheclinicalenvironment.Itincludesbasicrequirementsforthepowerdevice,pipelinesystemandperformance,andfornon-interchangeabilitybetweenkeycomponents.ThispartofthisEuropeanStandardspecifies:a)thecompatibilityandsafeperformancebetweenthedisposalsystemandtheothercomponentsoftheAGSSbydesign,installationandcommissioning;b)theuseofappropriatematerials;c)thetestingofcorrectinstallationtoensureachievementoftheperformanceintendedbythemanufacturer,d)themarkingofpipelineandcomponents.ThispartofthisEuropeanStandardaddressesonlythosedisposalsystemswhichareintendedtobeconnected,viaAGSSterminalunitswhichcomplywithEN737-4,toareceivingsystemwhichcomplieswithEN740.
